We have been offering Yoga Retreats in Costa Rica every March since 2019. Our next retreat will be announced by September 2026.
We will gather in a small luxury villa beach property only 5 minute walk from the beach. With two optional yoga classes daily overlooking the pool every day – the morning class will be a little more vigorous and a salute to the Costa Rican sun, the evening practice will be slow and soft to prepare us for sleep.
Each day you'll be learning about the ancient practices with contemporary science-based benefits. You morning will be active. Your afternoons will have personal time and contemplative times which could be on the beach, by the pool, or in your air conditioned villa or patio.
You'll have the chance to enjoy local excursions or keep it simple and enjoy our surroundings.
Our experienced cook will ensure that you get a nourishing, omnivore meals. With recipes of delicious, local, and organic cuisine. Our many years of experience running retreats in Costa Rica will ensure that your experience is smooth and relaxing. We can’t wait to host you!

FAQs
Credentialling We can offer YACEP credits for our workshops with Yoga’s only International credentialing organization, The Yoga Alliance.
Cancellation $100 registration deposits are non-refundable. Up to two weeks prior to the retreat, any payments (except the $100 non-refundable deposit) will be fully refunded. If you withdraw within two weeks prior to the retreat start date, we will refund all but $500 (which includes admin fee). If you leave part way through the retreat, you will need to pay 50% of the fee. If you leave after the halfway mark, no refunds will be issued. *Exceptions may be made, at the discretion of the instructors.
Prerequisites No need for any pre-requisites except your curiosity for the subscription and retreat. For Courses, no, but taking the 200 hour first will make things easier as it is foundational to other training.
Teachers The teachers are colleagues I have hand-picked for their unique qualities in teaching. All teachers have a minimum of 15 years of teaching.
Excursions HORSEBACK RIDING A beautiful ride along the beaches of the area with our famous local Sabanero, Andres Gutti. Price: $70 per person *5 min drive from SoulShine PADDLE BOARD TOUR You will explore the Mangrove Tunnels at the Nandamojo river. Your guide will point out the wildlife: water birds, monkeys, crocodiles and many other species of animals. 2 hrs. Price: $60 per person *10 min drive from SoulShine DIAMANTE ECO ADVENTURE PARK Diamante Eco Adventure Park is conveniently located and is the only oceanfront adventure park offering unique experiences in Costa Rica. Diamante is known for its exciting Zip Line course featuring the longest dual action zip line in the country and is home to a renowned Animal Sanctuary and one of the most beautiful Wildlife Education Centers in Costa Rica.
